* Presumptive cases are a close contact of a confirmed case AND have experienced specific symptoms consistent with COVID-19 BUT have not tested positive with a laboratory-confirmed test. This could mean they have not been tested, or they have tested negative. Due to the fact that a negative test does not rule out COVID-19, the Oregon Health Authority and the Coos County Public Health Division treats these persons as if they have been infected.

COVID-19 Vaccine Information Website

The COVID-19 vaccinations are being distributed within the community.

Our County is currently vaccinating Phase 1a through Phase 1b group 7 which includes frontline workers like grocery/retail staff and adults 16 and over who are at risk.

If you have signed up on the registration from, you will be contacted as soon as a vaccination event becomes available for you. You can also look into your local pharmacy to check with their vaccine availability as well. On April 19th, everyone 16 and older will be eligible for the vaccine
