CHW contracts with Columbia Care for 4 crisis respite beds at the Coos Crisis Resolution Center (CCRC). The CCRC is a licensed Residential Treatment Facility designed to provide a safe place for adults age 18-65 undergoing a period of crisis in their lives. Individuals with high medical needs, alcohol/drug intoxication or detoxification potential, inability to evacuate facility quickly, or active risk of harm to self or others are not appropriate. Stays are short with an average stay of 5-7 days with a maximum stay of 30 days. The CCRC is by license staffed 24/7. Services include medication management and daily medication monitoring, crisis monitoring, and personal support services.
Referrals to the CCRC are often directed by CHW medical providers or BAH hospital ED/Mental Health Unit staff.
