Traveling Recommendations for the Holiday Weekend

Coos Health & Wellness wants to remind everyone that traveling still comes with risks. Travel to areas with high numbers of COVID-19 cases can result in the local numbers raising, as we have already witnessed.
Please keep this in mind as you plan your activities for the 4th of July holiday weekend. High risk activities include large gatherings, even with family members, travel outside of our area, and gatherings indoors with those from outside your household. You can reduce your risk by attending or hosting smaller gatherings outside, staying six feet apart and wearing a face covering.
With the increase of cases in Coos County it is more important than ever to continue with the tools we have to control the spread of this disease. Those tools continue to be social distancing, wearing masks and good hand hygiene. As a community we can continue these practices to help protect our most vulnerable members.

Recomendaciones de viaje para el fin de semana festivo
Coos Health & Wellness quiere recordar a todos que viajar aún conlleva riesgos. Viajar a áreas con un alto número de casos de COVID-19 puede resultar en un aumento de los números locales, como ya hemos presenciado.
Tenga esto en cuenta al planificar sus actividades para el fin de semana festivo del 4 de julio. Las actividades de alto riesgo incluyen grandes reuniones, incluso con miembros de la familia, viajes fuera de nuestra área y reuniones en el interior con personas que no pertenecen a su hogar. Puede reducir su riesgo asistiendo u organizando reuniones más pequeñas al aire libre, manteniéndose a seis pies de distancia y usando una cubierta para la cara.
