  • Outpatient services consist of more traditional therapy services, including individual and/or family therapy, group therapy, or skills training, psychiatric services.
  • Youth enrolled in All School districts in Coos County may be able to obtain services directly through the CHW employed clinicians working within these districts. These school based clinicians can directly screen and enroll these youths at the school or they can receive referrals to treat the youth currently attending the given school
  • Currently utilized evidenced based therapeutic models include: Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Parent-Child Psychotherapy/Attachment Therapy, Wraparound, Collaborative Problem Solving, and Trauma Informed Care, EMDR, Filial Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Solution Focused Therapy.

Current Groups:

  • DBT: CHW offers a DBT group for adolescents. This group adapts traditional DBT to better meet the needs of adolescents struggling with emotional and relationships issues, self-harm, and suicidal ideation.
  • Social Skills Groups: CHW currently operates several skills training and related groups and off site locations, including areas schools.
  • EADA – Education Art for youth ages 6 – 18:
  • School staffs offer a variety of groups within their schools based on age of youth.
  • UNI-T: Resource and information group for transgender & gender diverse youth. Ask questions, learn more about gender affirmation care (hormone therapy, top surgery, etc.), and explore and learn about gender identity in a supportive, affirming, and safe environment.   • Groups are constantly ongoing and offered based on the needs of our clients & community.
