EASA is a statewide network of programs, which identify youth ages 15-25 with symptoms of psychosis as early as possible, as well as to provide support and treatment based on current research.

EASA identifies and supports young people whose symptoms are consistent with the onset of a psychotic illness (e.g. schizophrenia or bipolar disorder with psychosis). Program helps to clarify the diagnosis and identify appropriate treatment. Provide supports to the client and their family by linking them to the appropriate care.

EASA Provides:

  • Training and consultations for organizations and individuals
  • Community Outreach
  • Specialized assessments
  • Linkage to appropriate care
  • Psychoeducation to help understand the changes
  • Family group and peer support opportunities

The EASA Team is a multi-disciplinary team that includes an EASA Lead, in house psychiatrist, therapist, case manager, supported education, supported employment, OT, Peer support, and linkage to other supports as needed. CHW gets some State level funding for EASA so eligibility for EASA is expanded and can include some level of intervention for all individuals even those with commercial insurance.  Referrals to EASA can be coordinated with the EASA lead clinician.
