When standard outpatient services alone are not enough in meeting the needs of youth and their families there are several options for more intensive approaches.  Some of these include:

  • Intensive Care Coordination (ICC), providing a single person whose job it is to make sure that necessary services are in place, and that they are coordinated and delivered in the best way possible. These services involve activities that help manage youth who are at risk of placement disruption, school failure, criminal involvement, homelessness or other undesirable outcomes. ICC services may also help to recruit and direct natural and other supports through a Wraparound planning process.
