CHW recognizes both a legal and ethical responsibility to respect and promote the rights of the individuals we serve. CHW takes its role very seriously and works to create an environment where served individuals inform and direct the systems of care with which they are involved. The formal rights of individuals are spelled out in a number of statutory and constitutional rules, including the Outpatient Addictions and Mental Health Rules (OAR 309-019-0115), the requirements of the Oregon Health Plan (OAR 410-141-0320) and other sources.
